Hi!  I'm Laurel.

I am originally from California and grew up like most Californian children: eating avocados and writing screenplays on the beach.  (That's normal, right?)  I'm currently based on the East Coast, and even after ten years am still getting used to the ocean being on my right.

Here is a little Cliffs Notes version of my professional experience:

I have performed professionally on stage, on screen, and in the studio for over twenty years. Vocal credits include shows with Idina Menzel, Joey Fatone, Boyz II Men, Ryan Cabrera, and Dee Snider.  Regional theatre credits include La Mirada, Musical Theatre West, Orlando Shakespeare Theater, and Performance Riverside.  Film and TV credits include Warner Brothers, NBC, Fox Searchlab, and independent filmmakers.  I have recorded in-studio for Bandai Entertainment, Gaylord Hotels, Disney, NBC, and more.  I originated two shows for Disney, as Andy in the original cast of Toy Story, The Musical and as Squirt in the original cast of Finding Nemo, The Big Blue and Beyond.

As a writer, currently in post-production is the pilot my my dramedy, SMILES.  Check out the logline: After giving up a promising career to become a mom, a former actress discovers an undercover FBI operation within the school PTA and must use her acting skills to become part of the operation.

But enough about me!  (Plus, if you want to know more, there's a handy-dandy link to my resume, here!)
